Luke’s gospel tells us a good seed needs good soil to produce fruit (8:8). An effective way of ensuring that our hearts are that good soil is to ponder and cherish the word God plants there. By stimulating attention, touching our imagination, and encouraging prayer, these reflections will help nurture the good seed in good, fertile soil.
A Year of Sundays focuses on the gospels proclaimed during the liturgical year. It begins on the First Sunday of Advent in 2009 and continues through the Feast of Christ the King in November 2010. There is a brief reflection for each Sunday, as well as Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. Questions for meditation are given at the end of each reflection to provide sustenance for the journey throughout the week.
Attention: After carefully reviewing our manufacturing costs on the new redesigned A Year of Sundays 2010 we found we were able to lower our price for those customers who order 30 or more to $1.50 from the original $2.00 bulk price. For any customers who ordered prior to this change we will refund the difference in price.
